Based on the survey conducted by Dancham about the barriers for doing business in Indonesia, corruption is one of top five results. Business Breakfast Meeting on 15th of August 2018 aims to target the topic and provide Dancham members and the invited guess with the knowledge from the external speakers and expertise.
The event is co-organized by The Royal Danish Embassy and Danish-Indonesian Business Chamber. The Ambassador of Denmark, Mr. Rasmus Abildgaard Kristensen welcomes Dancham members and the invited guess to the Danish Residence. Before the meeting started, the guess are mingling around and had a pleasant networking session with each other.

Mr. Laode M. Syarif from KPK and Mr. Dadang Tri Sasongko from Transparency International Indonesia delivered their presentation on Indonesian corruption in business sector and the progress made by the Indonesian Government. They also present an interesting statistics regarding corruption and their other forms in Indonesia.
The presentation is then followed by interesting discussions regarding concerns found by the foreign companies, especially Danish companies, on the corruption found in the daily business activities and its current development. The question is also around how to improve the situation and closing the gap between Danish and Indonesian clean practice in business and government sectors.
