On Friday afternoon 24 January 2020, The Nordic Business Forum community gathered along to experience the Christmas Lunch which is a traditional Christmas celebration in Denmark, where friends and families are gathered for full afternoon Christmas celebration with several courses of meal. The guests come from 1 PM in the afternoon to mingle around the bar, a great start to get to know each other before the lunch is served.
The Julefrokost 2020 is a Dancham signature event in collaboration with Indonesia Norway Business Council (INBC) and Indonesia Sweden Business Association (ISBA), Dancham also invited Finland business community in Jakarta to join. Not only the Nordic community, but also Nordic friends from Vietnam, Germany, Spain, and Indonesia were also coming to celebrate the season with Nordic spirit.

The official Lunch started at 3 PM with an opening speech from Mr. Michael Nielsen as the chairman of Dancham to welcome all of the guests and to let all know about the Christmas Lunch tradition. All foods served in Christmas Lunch are home made, the ingredients were specially hand carried from Denmark, Norway, and Sweden by members, the other ingredients were selected carefully to bring along the best taste of Denmark and Nordic countries to Jakarta. We thank our great chefs, Mr. Øjvind Lajgaard and Mr. Torben Olsen.
Dancham Christmas Lunch was a three special meal courses that opened with fish dishes in smørrebrød style: salmon, herring, tuna, etc and Aquavit to compliment the fish dishes. The second round is hot meat dishes which is flæskesteg (Danish roast pork with crackling) and as the dessert, various cheeses are served.
