Nordic Night 2019 was held on Thursday, 26th September 2019 at Ballroom – Ayana Midplaza Jakarta.
The joint event is to commemorate national days of four Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. Entering the ballroom, four Ambassadors of Nordic countries line up while greeting the guest one by one.
The event was opened by welcoming speeches from four Ambassadors: H.E. Rasmus A. Kristensen of Denmark, H.E. Jari Sinkari of Finland, H.E. Vegard Kaale of Norway, and H.E. Marina Berg of Sweden, as well as representative from Indonesian government H.E. Bambang Brodjonegoro, followed by cake cutting ceremony.
Dancham took to support Nordic Night 2019 by being one of the sponsors. This year’s Nordic Night invited around 2,000 people from relevant government agencies, diplomatic missions, and non-governmental organizations. This year’s Nordic Night 2019 also adopted the environmentally-friendly theme by not showing physical roll-up banners and flyers, and replaced them with the digital banners and QR codes.
