The EIBN is a consortium partnership of European bilateral chambers of commerce in Indonesia (Britcham, Ekonid, Eurocham, and IFCCI). The project is initiated and co-funded by the European Union and aims to enhance business opportunities for European companies in Indonesia and to promote the Indonesian market in the EU as a high potential trade and investment destination.
The project entered its 6th year with inclusion of new partners, Danish-Indonesian Business Chamber (DanCham) and Italian Business Association in Indonesia (IBAI) officially in August 2018.
The EIBN Joint Gathering is a business networking event that is organized regularly by the partner chambers of EIBN. On the September 4th 2018, partner chambers of EIBN are organizing another EIBN Joint Gathering at DoubleTree by Hilton, Menteng. Around 200 people representing their European and Indonesian organizations/institutions, both member and non-member of EIBN partner chambers are attending the Joint Gathering.
Inclusion of new partner is officially announced in the EIBN Joint Gathering on September 4th 2018. Honorable representatives from all the partner chambers conducted the ceremonial beer toast to open the networking gathering, this beer toast marks DanCham and IBAI first ever participation in the EIBN Joint Gathering.
The partnership will include DanCham in EIBN projects and services through the designated project officer. DanCham will also join and support the EIBN-organized events as from the first official inclusion.
