On January 30th, the Danish Business Community, invited by Dancham and the Danish Ambassador, gathered at the Ambassador’s residence for dinner, networking and updates from EU.
Ambassador Rasmus Abildgaard Kristensen welcomed all guests and offered his New Year greetings as well as an update on the recent visit of the Danish Prime Minister. Raffaele Quarto from the EU delegation in Indonesia provided an update and outlook on the ongoing CEPA negotiations (EU-Indonesia Comprehensive Economic Partnership).
Despite many barriers and obstacles, the CEPA negotiations are still ongoing but obviously entering a phase of uncertainty depending on the outcome of the 2019 elections. Dancham also provided their report for 2017 and a brief view of the plans for 2018 which includes networking events, executive round tables as well as subject-matter events.
