Dear Danish Corporations in Indonesia (DanCham members),
At Copenhagen Business School (CBS) we are introducing, a new initiative called “Internship Abroad”. In short the idea is to provide relevant, talented students a novel international learning opportunity consisting of the combination of:
Getting professional experiences through a one-semester internship at a Danish company in Indonesia
Learning about the culture/market as part of the university education
Study selected courses at a local university, which are arranged to compliment the internship. The initiative is supported by the Danish embassy, which has supported us with the local contacts to universities and authorities. To our best knowledge the relevant visa can be granted to the interns as long as they are enlisted at the local universities. The student will receive SU stipends but it can be necessary with additional financial support for travel and accommodation expenses.
Internship Abroad will be organized on the basis of the fall semester, and the fundamental principles of the Internship Abroad initiative are:
We aim for a long internship lasting from August to January (up to 6 months)
We aim for local courses at the Indonesian university during the summer and/or in January
We aim to open a pool for you of the most talented CBS students (from the prestigious IB, IBA and EB programs)
You will never have to engage with students that you are uncertain about CBS distributes your internship call directly to all relevant students (in October)
You will have a 30 min. slot in a virtual “Meet & Greet” (late October) session in which you can present ISS Indonesia, the internship option plus Q&A with the relevant students
We aim for a very easy and flexible process in which you receive applications directly from the relevant CBS students and reply the final decision directly to the student(s) plus the go-to-person at CBS
We aim for a start primo August 2023
Allow me to e-introduce the “go-to-person” at CBS Anders Folkmann (af.stu@cbs.dk) from our International Office in Copenhagen. We hope to hear from you, if you are interested in participating in this initiative.
